Support our work. Make a Difference!
Donations make all the difference to the work we do as advocates and protectors of our precious aquatic environment. There are several ways that you can help to support our work today.
Giving a gift by direct debit is one of the easiest ways to help the Salmon & Trout Association. Regular gifts give us the confidence to plan our campaigns as they provide sustained and reliable income, and give you the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping us throughout the year.
To create a regular direct debit donation please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send the forms to you.
Leaving a gift in your Will is an enduring way to help us to influence national decision makers over the conservation of water and the diverse environments upon which all aquatic life depends; and will ensure that your voice is heard well into the future.
After providing for those you care for, please consider leaving a proportion of whatís left over to help us deliver our message of environmental protection. You donít have to be wealthy to leave a charitable gift. Even small gifts make a big difference to our work.
Please click on the information button for details about how you can leave a legacy.
Donation in Lieu of Flowers
Many supporters prefer to make a collection for the Salmon & Trout Association in lieu of flowers at a funeral. A donation to the S&TA will endure far longer than a floral arrangement and will support our work as advocates for fisheries and angling matters; and to influence decision-making processes on behalf of all those with an interest in the aquatic environment. You can make your donation by post, via our website or over the phone.
If you are organising a funeral for a loved one, we can provide Gift Aid S&TA donation envelopes for you to distribute at the ceremony.
If you are a UK taxpayer, payroll giving is an easy and tax-free way of supporting the Salmon & Trout Association. Through payroll giving your donation could be increased by up to 50% making your money go even further.
How does payroll giving work?
Through payroll giving, you get immediate tax relief of up to £5 for every £10 donated. Donations are taken from your salary before tax, reducing the amount of income tax you will pay.
What do you need to do?
Itís easy to sign up. Just ask your payroll department to deduct regular donations from your salary, stating how much you would like to give and to which charity.
If your employer does not already have a payroll giving scheme in place it is quick and easy for them to set up. Employers simply sign up with a Payroll Giving Agency who will administer donations on their behalf.
If you or your employers have any questions or would like further information, please contact Gale Gould on 020 7283 5838 or email email@example.com.
